Addressing Internship Woes

An internship is usually taken up by graduates to stand out from the large pile of employees striving to earn job at the end of their studies. However, the truth of the matter, though , is that it usually ends up as a monotonous and tedious task getting you nowhere.

You do it for the necessity to seek your degree that mandates its requirement and a past time for the prolonged summer vacations. It usually results in a screwed up training program whereby the intern ends up waiting to meet his respective boss with the piles of research reports.

The co-founder of the Web portal Lets intern.com- Rishabh Gupta says,” Too many companies expect their interns to hit the ground running. Companies don’t make their expectations clear. They give regular employees a few months before they expect them to prove themselves, but often interns are not even given a couple of weeks.”
