An Analysis Of Indian Education System

It is dismal to note that despite having a large pool of young talent, India unfortunately is not able to make up for the vacancies in the various sectors of the industry.

Education

Moreover, another shocking figure statistics depict that only one student out of every seven kids could make it to higher education studies into college. To support the crippling education condition, An annual listing of top 200 universities released by the QS World University Rankings doesn’t have a single Indian university in its top 200 list.

Furthermore, it depicts a dissenting Gross Enrollment Ratio of the country. The data gathered in 2010 shows that the GER of India was a just 13.8%, a stark contrast to the global average GER of 26%. Among others, Australia, Russia and the U.S GRE’s aere up by 75%. The Ministry of Human Resources & Development however, set a target of 30% for India by 2020 which seems obscure when compared to the current GER growth rates.
