Automobile Sector Been Hit Hard Ahead Of The Dwindling Economy

Until sometime before, V M Jagtap decided on revamping the production levels. He decided on running one shift five days a week nearby Pune at his Ranjangaon auto parts factory.

Not only this, he also initiated other steps viz, diversifying the auto sector and mingling several units that make almost the similar stuff for various firms and dissenting decision of laying off one fourth of its workforce.

The state of factory of Jagtap symbolizes the state of affairs of thousand such odd small- and medium-scale auto parts makers, having an average turnover of Rs 100-500 crore at the Maharashtra’s Pimpri- Chinchwad industrial club that are confronting the heat waves of the extended slowdown being witnessed across the Indian automobile sector.

Not only this, there are many such firms that are preparing to diversify the expected safer businesses. Whereby his state is self expalantory, he has been exempted from operating his factory from a former three shifts six days a week.
