In his recent visit to IIT-Bombay, US vice president Joe Biden remarked the institute as world class and one of its kind in the world. The guy seemed extremely impressed with its high tech education and at par excellence.
Biden did rounds of its laboratories and interacted with the students and gave an after remark stating,” I have been extremely impressed. This is a great university, one of the leading universities in the world in the field of technology.”
He further appreciated women’s participation in the field of education and lauded their contribution in carving India’s future in several acclaimed fields of transportation, education and medicine.
Joe Biden scheduled a 4 day visit to the country and wrapped it with the conference based on Indo US partnership, entitled, “women in science.” It is interesting to note the Joe is the first vice president who paid visit to the country during the past three decades.
