The most vulnerable facet of the corporate life in today’s world is the insecurity in job market. Employment, by definition is a hand written contract between two parties- the recruiter and the employee.
The contract is a mutual agreement approved and agreed upon by both the entities. Also, it entails clauses that one may move out of it willingly or as per at their ease. However, when an employee moves out, the process is called resignation and enters into a fresh agreement with an altogether fresh individual with new optimism and enthusiasm.
When things are other way around that is the employer calls it quits, the situation is dreaded as pink slip. The matter of fact, though, is that pink slips are reality and we need to prepare ourselves for the unexpected odds. A word of caution would always be not to fret and also don’t personalize it.
