MBA Dilemma

In an interesting trend, it has been found that nearly 40% of MBA graduates are not able to find jobs matching their profiles and areas of interest. After spending huge amount of bucks for the two year programme, students are aimlessly roaming on the streets.

A sluggish economy and pickier employers have aggravated their concerns for a screwed up job market. Moreover, the cost of the programme is far greater than the pay scales offered to its students.

Rashmi Sanyal, a MBA in financial markets spent near around 4.5lakh for her studies but is yet to secure a job. She remarked, "I am still hunting.” Not only her, many of her batch mates are going through similar dilemma. To put it in a nutshell, the coveted and pre eminent MBA programme has lost its credibility in the job market and is unable to warranty future ticket to its fellows. The number of aspirants applying for the course has also decreased considerably during the past few years.
