Germany’s Education Conundrum

A Facebook chat initiative was conducted by the Hindu at Germany in collaboration with DAAD, India. The chat session was accomplished as two part series and hosted a series of questionnaire popped up by educationists and students aspiring to migrate abroad for higher education.

The program explained visa restrictions, tuition fees and gave convincing clarifications encompassing the same. Germany, for instance, offers admission solely on academic excellence and has no restriction of quotas and other reservations.

When asked if German language skills are requisite for acquiring MS degree, experts told that the language knowledge is mandatory only when the program is of international degree, otherwise the course can be availed in English or in a language of your choice and interest.

The tuition fees in the country is also reasonable ranging from Euro 50- 250, except that travelling expenses and accommodation should be taken a separate count.
